"We have an amazing, colourful and Rights Respecting School"
Pupil Voice

School Parliament

Our aim is to give every child a say in what we do at our school!

Our Representatives from October 2020 are:

Bumblebees (Year 1):

Grasshoppers (Year 2):

Dragonflies (Year 3):

Scorpions (Year 4):

Our School Parliament Group play an important role in organising events, promoting British Values across the school and ensuring that all of their peers have a 'voice' when decisions are made to improve our school.

In the past year we have, interviewed a real member of Parliament, visited a Bournemouth Mosque and Southampton's Vedic Hindu Temple, organised fundraising events for a range of charities and worked with an artist to create a new Playground Charter. This year we have worked to reorganise our library and worked alongside the teachers to provide exciting events such as Children in Need and world Book Day.

We have a lot of fun in our weekly sessions whilst gaining lots of important skills for the future!
